Returns the current date of the system.

To comply with ANSI standards, this function can be called without parentheses.

Arguments

None.

Examples

Show the current date, time, and timestamp:

SELECT CURRENT_DATE(), CURRENT_TIME(), CURRENT_TIMESTAMP();
